Higher Port Speeds

MacSLIP now supports port speeds of 115200 and 230400 on the Modem Port and Printer Port on AV 68K Macintoshes and all Power Macintoshes (Macintosh hardware that has serial DMA support). This feature uses undocumented features in the MacOS and is not recommended or supported by Apple, so it might not work on your particular system and may not work in a future release of MacOS. This feature is being offered for use as a convenience to users whose configurations support this option. This option also may not work if you have Geoport or Express Modem software installed, even if you're not using that software.
